Epic Wars Confrontation

Every month we hand the mic to a creator doing something worth talking about. This month it's Magio Cristofero Paulo Madjerec, the mind behind Epic Wars Confrontation (EWC).

What is Epic Wars Confrontation?

EWC is a living card game built for 2 to 6 players. Everyone takes control of a hero with their own unique premade deck, then battles it out in a fast, messy, free for all. The goal is simple: be the last hero standing. Getting there is anything but.

Each hero comes with a signature ability and a deck that plays nothing like the one across the table. You manage Training Points to bring cards into play, swing weapons, throw up armor, call in allies, and time your reactions to wreck someone else's plan. And because combat runs on a roll and add system with the Battle die, no match ever plays out exactly the same way twice. There's always a chance to clutch it out.

Why we're featuring it

We have a soft spot for creators who take a real swing, and EWC is exactly that. It rethinks how a card game economy works, leans into multiplayer chaos instead of avoiding it, and ships with lore that genuinely evolves as the community plays. That's a hard thing to pull off as an indie, and Magio has done it the right way: through Kickstarter, through word of mouth, and through players who keep coming back to the table.

The proof is in the reach. EWC is currently sold in 31 stores across 16 states, has been featured by MTG Baron and Good Time Gamers, and got a write up in the International Business Journal for challenging the way traditional card games are priced and played.
